Mr & Mrs Balendra are the Directors of Choice Childcare Holdings Pty Ltd.
A passion for teaching children and a vision of excellence in childcare for all children are their fundamental principles. Their centres are designed to be places where parents can have the peace of mind that their children are safe and well cared for while also receiving an all rounded education. Graduates of their centres are happy, high achieving, global citizens.
Mr & Mrs Bala have been involved in many charitable works over the years including advocating for Early Childhood Education in impoverished countries to support their belief this gives every child the best start in life. They have conducted charitable workshops and presentation to help improve the standards of care in education in these countries. They are also active volunteers and participants in their local community. Mr Bala served as Deputy Mayor of Auburn Council for a number of years and was awarded "Citizen of the Year" for his volunteer efforts in the community. Mrs Bala has been a passionate advocate of early childhood education and has been fundamental in training and assisting staff to go on to establish their own high quality centres. Mrs Bala has been quoted in numerous articles and journals for her keen views on high quality education and care for all children.
